AI Project Manager Pack

The AI Project Manager Pack turns Hermes into a project-control layer. It is not just a note taker and it is not just another board. It captures work from wherever it starts, turns it into projects and tasks, chases owners, requires evidence before closing work, and gives you status briefs you can actually read.

What it replaces

Most operators become the human router:
  • remembering every loose commitment,
  • asking for status in chats,
  • moving tasks between tools,
  • writing the Monday status doc,
  • chasing people who went quiet,
  • reconstructing decisions from old threads.
The pack gives Hermes a repeatable loop:
  1. Capture the commitment.
  2. Clarify missing owner/date/scope.
  3. Assign only after approval when needed.
  4. Chase through the configured work surface.
  5. Collect evidence before Done/Blocked.
  6. Report shipped, slipped, blocked, decisions, and risk.

What can start work

A project does not require a transcript. The pack can create or update work from:
  • direct Hermes conversation,
  • manual project/task creation,
  • onboarding first project,
  • recurring workflows and SOPs,
  • scheduled check-ins,
  • local transcript inbox files,
  • manual transcript paste,
  • native Fathom polling when configured,
  • Google Drive/Gmail transcript fallback when configured,
  • external message/task-tool evidence where configured.

What the board includes

The local cockpit includes:
  • Today,
  • Inbox/Approvals,
  • Board,
  • Projects,
  • Scope project,
  • Outbox,
  • Decisions,
  • Settings.
It supports quick task capture, project scoping, approval review, dispatch, risk scan, evidence-gated Done/Blocked, weekly brief, hours-back receipt, and readiness checks.

Self-install vs white-glove

Self-install is designed to be useful immediately:
  • one checkout token,
  • one Hermes handoff command,
  • guided setup inside Hermes,
  • local SQLite ledger,
  • scheduler,
  • board,
  • local transcript inbox,
  • Fathom setup path,
  • existing Hermes work-surface detection,
  • local safe fallback.
White-glove adds implementation help: setup, connector validation, Slack/Fathom configuration, first projects, approval cleanup, cadence tuning, and upgrade planning.
